The Senate version of Obamacare will let “adult dependents” stay on your health insurance until they’re age 26. (p. 4/22 in the PDF)
Extension of Dependent Adults: All individual and group coverage policies will be required to continue offering dependent coverage for children until the child turns age 26, according to regulations to be established by the Secretary of Health & Human Services. (ยง2709)
Notice the verb “required”. Infantilization meet collectivism.
Don’t most policies keep kids on the role until 24 now? Except for the federal system now which cuts them loose at 22.
Under Obama-Care don’t we all become dependent adults?
Sorry, was that too obvious?
Of nearly all the healthcare policies I’ve had over the years most included children past 18 and up to 23 if still students.
