Old school reporters crib from blogs all the time. It happens to Danger Room so often, I hardly even pay attention to it any more.But even my jaded eyes grew big when I read the opening sentence of this Fox News piece:
The Pentagon has suffered from a cyber attack so alarming that it has taken the unprecedented step of banning the use of external hardware devices, such as flash drives and DVD’s, FOX News has learned.
Now, how did Fox News’ Justin Fishel and Jennifer Griffin managed to “learn” about this turn of events? Well, ever-so-coincidentally, we just happened to break a story — on the exact same topic — the day before Fox ran its piece. Way to dig hard, folks. I’ll notify the Pulitzer committee.
WOW, get over yourself, Noah. The entire DOD gets e-mails telling us not to use USB devices and the reasons for it and you assume that the ONLY way Fox News could learn about what was going on is from your blog? What a douche. Read the rest and the commenters that call him out HERE
