Jack Bauer sums up the United Nations in Africa (the whole world really) in one tersely worded (and stated) sentence uttered to the UN “worker” at the boys school in 24: Redemption. If 24 is like this in the upcoming season — we might be in for a rejuvenation. If so, Republicans take note… going more conservative is the recipe for redemption — not becoming squishier.

Having never caught the Jack Bauer virus I’m voting that they go squishy and find a way to blame nasty, evil white guys for what first looks like the evils of liberalism.

I think the title refered to the fact that Jack Bauer, after Season 6 and all he went through, was in a period of DEEP depression. It reminded me of the film RAMBO, where the main character is a bit lost and needs to be reminded of what he does best.
