Paint By Numbers — the Texas Edition

House is done! Floyd did a pretty good job painting the house. I gave a 110% and I thank God for keeping the paint on the walls… I couldn’ta done it without Him. My new 120G iPod helped myself paint the house. Today’s sampling is Texas music…. NOT Stevie Ray Vaughn or ZZ Top… those are easy (and great). These may be lesser known to non-Texans (maybe not what do I know?)

Townes Van Zandt — Pancho and Lefty

Joe Ely… Me and Billy the Kid

Jerry Jeff Walker… “Up Against the Wall Redneck Mother” — born in NY, but he’s a Texan.

Delbert McClinton — “Every Time I Roll the Dice”

Doyle Bramhall II — “Little Queen of Spades”
