Aw, who cares. The song is just too too sweet. The white guys play with such joy (the lead singer/guitarist is on fire), and the two skinny black guys in the horn section are wayyyy beyond cool.
Sadly… whites seems to be the saviors of some authentically black cultural areas… jazz and blues in particular. There are many black jazz musicians of course, but check the audiences. White ticket buyers and music buyers…. So why not play that funky music? Red Hot Chili Peppers saved funk too.
