On the trolley ride home yesterday I got stuck next to a small herd of Levi Johnsons. Led by a guy who seems to believe that “loser” is a good career move. He was successively lamenting that the insurance wasn’t going to pay to fix the computer in which he dumped “a whole Corona”, then how he couldn’t use his phone because he was “out of minutes”, then, on a borrowed phone, telling step-dad that he was done with his community service this weekend, then saying how he needed to save $300 so he could drive again. In a just world, this guy would be celibate until his 40s, yet for some reason I get the feeling women find him attractive.

Ah, the future of America, a perfect example of those who will be paying for my Social Security checks.

  • Does young Levi realize that it isn’t women who check out Playgirl? (at least, living in Boys’ Town in Chicago, that’s my impression)

What a fine upstanding young man.

  • No one in particular

You can get a girl preggers and still be gay. I understand his next stop is as a model for “Tom of Finland”.

He’s now set up as a walking “National Enquirer” career story for some writer.

Yeeeeaaaah. I’m pretty sure Playgirl is made almost exclusively for gay men. Fact is there isn’t much attractive about a naked dude and I’m not just saying that because I’m a straight guy. A naked woman is a far prettier thing to look at from an artistic standpoint. Guys well we’re less artistic looking and are a bit more…I don’t know utilitarian I guess, kind of like a jeep or a swiss army knife. Above the waist women find us visually appealing but below the waist not so much, this is why you see so little full frontal of guys in movies. It’s just not pretty.

    Our resident women may disagree.

I agree. Utilitarian is exactly the word I would use. I suspect real wimmen (don’t let my avatar fool you…I’m a wimmen) tend to be attracted to facial features. Beyond that, I’ve always thought women are attracted to a sense of humor, confidence and a man who is mature and responsible.

I have a soft spot for Cary Grant and Steve McQueen yet never longed for the long-lost nudie photos. Perhaps this thread ties in somehow with the Pill and women liking girly men?

As for Levi Johnston: I think Bristol Palin is better off without him. What a maroon.
