Couldn't imagine then and barely can now after almost 14 years in Cali (nothing beyond rollers and harmless slams earthquake-wise) the devastation the Bay area endured. Don't remember one pitch or at-bat from the rest of the Series. When the quake hit, I was 11 years old, and home alone. One of the scariest moments of my life. But I kept my cool, hid under the dinner table and waited it out.
