Can anyone explain this: Why do people keep referring to Thatcher and Great Britain as the AGGRESSOR in the Falklands War when Argentina clearly started it by invading the islands.
It’s because the Brits were white and being led by a conservative leader at the time. Therefore, they’re automatically the bad guys in any situation. (Just stop me if any of this sounds familiar).

Scott I made the mistake of suggesting it might be time for Fisher to go today and you would have thought I asked people to shoot their family pet. I’m not saying Fisher is a bad coach but when a coach has been somewhere for so long they can become stagnant and what I’ve seen this season is a coach who doesn’t care and players who care even less. Not good.
Unrelated note. With healthcare getting a bit scary and no longer a safe haven in the working world I am looking at transitioning to the IT world and becoming a SQL DBA (Database Administrator to mere mortals), anyone on here happen to be in the field already?
Veruckt,Jeff looked like a dead man walking when he should have been screaming and yelling.I don’t know what it is with coaches today…I think of guys like Lombardi and George Allen,who were like pinballs on that sideline
Bud Adams has said some things today that indicate that he is open to a coaching change. I’m thinking the Titans could be heading into rebuilding phase over the next 3 to 5 years especially since we slept on getting Jay Cutler when he was on the block (incredibly stupid by the way). We have an old team and a handful of young guys who aren’t especially good, except for Johnson of course. Last year was a bit of a fluke in that we had a cream puff schedule but we performed badly in divisional games and against good teams. Fact is we haven’t been to the Superbowl ™ in a decade and have been horrible in the playoffs. Fisher has run his course in TN I think.
Interesting, and lesser known factoid, about Che. After he badly bungled his “revolution” in Bolivia, the CIA wanted to leave him dangling, figuring that he would be a laughingstock. He had lost most of the few men who had fought for him and the agency figured the best way to deal with a fool was to reveal him to be a fool. The Bolivians, however, chose to execute him and thus created the martyr that we have today.
On a similar note, I always thought that if we capture bin Laden, the best thing to do would be to strip him naked, paint his ass purple and dump him in the middle of Harlem with a sign stapled to his chest that reads “Where are the hot sistahs at?” Same effect as a trial and execution, but a helluva lot more fun and no martyr factor what-so-ever.
Interesting, albeit slatned, article about a group called the Oathkeepers. This article is clearly attempting to slander them and paint them as racist radicals yet their stance appears very logical and not at all what I’d consider a “hategroup”. What say you?
Hey Scott as an Eagles fan I gotta say bite me. HA! The Eagles were pathetic. Nothing to gloat about. I get stuck listening to the NFL on Sirius when we are driving around..Vikings nearly dropped one against the Ravens but they pulled it out.
You know what I think happened to the Eagles? I think they were so puzzled to see Russell complete a pass that they didn’t know how to react. Even I was stunned to see him complete a pass and judging by his TE’s reaction he was too.
