Because my weekend includes not only a get together with Nia-Malika Henderson over at Poliltico’s offices in D.C., but a chance to schmooze with this guy.
Believe it or not, Hayes and I have more in common than our devilish charm and stunning good looks. We are both Fellows with the Phillips Foundation, a conservative/libertarian organization that encourages and supports journalists who have not taken the happy pills. It’s a great group, which counts Bob Novak and Bill Buckley among its founders, one that focuses on young journalists. (And you can support them too). Being a dinosaur myself, I’m slightly out of place, but I figured it would be good for me and Mrs. Trzupr to head over to D.C. for our annual reunion.
So, I’m going to have some face time with some big shooters. Since I’ll be way out of my league, I must appeal to you good citizens of Threedonia. What kind of questions should I ask Hayes and Henderson? What would you like to know? Suggestions?
A full report will follow after the schmoozing is done.

AAAAIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
trzupr,
You’d better tell him that I wrote a hubba for him, or don’t bother coming back here.
Tell him you know who said hi to…
How about getting reporters from large papers (like the WashPo) to write meaningful stories about local communities and families instead of getting sound bites from parents about the hysteria surrounding swine flu?
