A Fox News hubba-hubba: Brit Hume

Because decency is the new black.

thumbBecause I’m so very fond of that hangdog, hound dog mien.

Because his voice.  And those hands!  Make me swoon.

Because he was the best, and the last, of the great news anchors.

Because even after suffering unspeakable tragedy, he stayed on and did his job, and did it with grace and honor, and never used his personal life to get a pass on his professional one.

Because it will be the eternal shame of this White House that they ever dissed this man.

[Note to Fritz: Since you asked...now that our C-in-C & his Merry Maoists have penned their enemies list, where else should I be, but spreading the word that you mess with my boys -- you mess with me!]

He’s one of the few that can still be trusted. I was prejudiced against him when he first came to Fox from the less-important-media; but, soon changed my mind. He has decades of experience, and doesn’t fear the truth.

  • Hell yeah! Miss him on the Chris Matthews Sunday morning show so much I rarely tune in anymore.

  • Have to hand it to you Wanks…you do amaze me. It’s not all about the hoohaa factor with you ladies here at 3D; you can pick men of real substance. Brit’s a great guy. You picked well my friend!

Hoohaa, Fritz? Such language! Actually, made me laugh out loud.

Also, Britt Hume is the best. Dark day around the Tink household when he retired, at least he is still around alot.

Hume is an old-style, real journo with more class in his hairstyle than most graduates of j-school. When the late Tony Snow (may he rest in peace) was the host of Fox News Sunday I thought of Brit Hume as Snow’s elder brother. They kind of resembled each other. Huzzah, Wankette for another great choice!

Aw, there’s Britt! Love Britt. Good job Wanks. Britt is a class act! Truly.

Britt’s the best – his show was my only “appointment television”. Well, him and Tony Snow (swoon).

Britt can say more with one skeptical lift of an eyelid than a whole day of Chris Matthew’s blather. I miss him at 6:00 for the news but have noticed that he is on some of the shows more lately- and I speak for many who say the more he is on, the better!

I think Major Garret has great promise, too. He can explain some complex issues very clearly, and his individual “voice” is coming across- he’s a thinker.

And Chris Wallace is so much better than his dad ever was at asking the questions we want to know the answers to, and not backing down when the subject tries to give a party line- whether Dem or Rep.
