Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (Lead Guitar-MI/USA)
Tune in (or whatever you call it in the cyber-world) Monday. In the grand tradition of We the People, please submit some questions you might like to hear. We’ll be sure to announce your name if we use it during the recording Sunday.
Joining us as guest co-host/panelist will be Big Hollywood contributor and internet radio sensation Stage Right.
–Where does he stand on NY23? Hoffman or crazy lady?
–Could we get him to come around Threedonia?
–Have he and Huckabee ever gotten into a jam session?
–Has he ever read GK Chesterton or Wilhelm Ropke (also spelled Roepke or Röpke)?
–What does he honestly think of term limits? Good or bad? Note: No need for pandering. I don’t exactly support term limits myself, but I would like to hear his perspective on the matter.
–What does he think of a balanced budget amendment? Would he support one that limited spending to ten percent of GDP?
–Is there any way we would tempt him to beat Pelosi with a shoe when she wasn’t looking? Would security give him a head start out of sympathy?
–What does he think of the new OurGOP online platform?
I think being associated with us man-boob posting loons might do him more harm than good.
All worthy questions, David, but please remember this Radio Free Threedonia; i.e., a little more on the lighter side of life. Not that you might not hear something like what you dropped (I especially like the Pelosi query), but might also catch wind of “What are you doing to bring back Mr. Michigan Ted Nugent from his self-imposed exile to Texas?” or “Is there really a need for a Red Dawn remake, especially in the PC era, even if it is bringing much-needed jobs to Michigan?”
With all due respect Eric, maybe Ted actually likes Texas better.
and he’s living near your old stomping grounds isn’t he Outlaw?
I wouldn’t argue with Ted — loves me some Texas myself — but he’s the Motor City Madman fercryin’outloud.
Who the hell is Wilhelm Rockpick?
Who the hell is Wilhelm Rockpick?
An Austrian school economist who was a colleague of Ludwig von Mises and a good friend of F.A. Hayek and is considered the architect of the “miraculous” post-WWII recovery of West Germany. He stands apart from other Austrian school economists in bringing an articulation and defense of the free market to a more humane level, integrating moral, social and political thought. You might call him a socially conservative classical liberal.
No offense intended, David, because I do marvel at your incredibly info-filled noggin’, but you do find time to get laid every so often, right?
There’s something about library chicks…
Quickie in the stacks…check out a book…
–nodding and grinning proudly for ya–
Vaguely remember those days…
One of the coolest things about this guy is his name. Does he have any siblings and what are their names?
Love, love, love the Pelosi question David. Awesomest thing I have read all day.
Thanks,David…when it comes to reading economics,I’d rather go to the can and bob for turds.
