Welcome Charles Foster Kane

“Where’s my sled?”

So Harry moved on to bigger and better things, leaving Floyd and I to fend for ourselves. Floyd and I are no dummies, but we really don’t know anything about media, or running a blog, or eating with utensils. Oh sure, Floyd’s literate (and he never misses an opportunity to throw that in my face), and I used to do my buddy Bill’s paper route for him when he was on vacation, but still Floyd and I felt like there were gaps in our knowledge. We wanted someone who knows media inside and out; new media, old media, media dipped in a nice alfredo sauce with a side of arugula… and someone who could manage advertising for us, so Floyd and I could finally cash in on all that sweet, sweet internet coin Harry was pulling down! Well, were we ever lucky! We found a guy who knows plenty about all that stuff; Charles Foster Kane!

Charles Foster is a “J school” graduate with well over two decades of experience as a reporter and editor. He has done beat reporting and attended his fair share of local, school board meetings as well as hours listening to the police and fire bands on the radio, waiting for a story to break. Even though he now simply manages a staff of folks who do those things, he still writes opinion pieces and uses his MBA to pontificate on economics and business. He’s got ink in his veins! (Floyd assures me that’s not fatal.)

And Charles Foster is no stranger to new media. He has run his own blog for several years as well as guest blogging on a national site. You may say Charles Foster Kane is an established citizen of the internet. Get it? “Citizen?! Kane?!”
