I wish we had the whole thing but that is enougb for me. Not shocked.
The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned.
I’m impressed. It can’t be easy to pack that much stupid into two sentences. So in Obama’s mind, economic freedom = forced distribution of wealth? Pretty dumb for a supposed intellectual. Now we know why he has stuffed his administration with Maoists.

Barack Hussein Obama?
BHO is a piece of work. He thinks he will put the finishing touches on the generational incrementalism that’s been going on in America for the last 100+ years. He may well do it too, unless something measurably drastic takes place to stop it.
Well they lost a cloture vote yesterday in the Senate and Black Nan has admitted that she doesn’t have the votes for public option. I think what has forced all this is the deficit and the fact that FOX news has allowed Beck and others to run untethered. It doesn’t take a giant brain or people with fifty degrees each who have never implemented any of the theories they yammer on about to understand what unsustainable deficits mean. There is something very intriguing about people who might not have degrees from lauded universities being more savvy about the real life problems that these evil doers and anti American infidels have done to our country. There is a certain amount of street smarts and wisdom that pin heads like Obamawan cannot admit exists within the common people. We won’t be fooled anymore.
Here’s another part:

No doubt this morsel will be printed in a future Little Red Book that we worker ants will be required to recite on demand from an Obama Service Corps purple shirt.
You see here the typical leftist tactic of using a McGuffin to push a bad idea. You see, what Dear Leader is saying is, the free market isn’t free because no one is free to make bad life choices. The poor woman with four kids, three jobs, two divorces and a partridge in a pear tree has obviously made some very bad decisions regarding her life. Actions, meet consequences. But, individual actions are meaningless to collectivists like our president. One’s self-imposed misfortune should be a misfortune to all.

I thought it was fishy from the beginning. “So-called” is not a term you would see in a masters thesis, its too informal. Or at least in my experience. If I put something like that in one of my scholarly papers my Professors would have torn me apart.

And the difference between this and Rush is that the made up quotes in no way sound anything like Rush. THis quote??? Sounds exactly like something Obama would say and has said in a 2001 radio interview and in his exchange with “Joe the Plumber” so the mistake is easier and less bad faith. That being said I’ll take it down if I can find proof that it’s fake.
And besides… disclaimers are used all the time. It’s not like many don’t think he’s a socialist anyway so I doubt I stirred too many waters with this.

The quote itself, though manufactured, is probably based on a similar, but much milder, statement he made in a radio interview back in 2001, the substance of which was “the Founders didn’t finish the job with ‘economic rights’.”

Kevin S. – I’ve been here for a while, just trying to keep it REAL. Steph – yes, I listened to Rush for a long. It was my attempt to understand the country’s political divide.
