Axelrod is the biggest reason Obama brought down Hillary and then McCain so if he goes under the bus Obama will be running the White House by himself. I think he would dump his wife before Axelrod.
Axelrod is safe as long as he can keep Obama sitting on his lap while keeping his own lips from moving when Obama speaks.
