Eh…who cares. That district is a pretty conservative district and she was a blatant slap in the face. The blogosphere says a lot of stuff, including stuff like Obama was born in Kenya………..

Would it be correct to call Scozzafava a "California State Legislator?" Some suggestions around the blogosphere that, with the Obama White House having put the big squeeze on Scozzafava to make the endorsement, perhaps this could be seen as "Chicago Politics come to NY-23," and if Owens pulls it out, look for Scozzafava to get some plumb job in DC. I tellya, I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

According to Public Policy Polling (here) Hoffman leads Owens by 15 points. Analysis by a couple of different pollsters agree that the Fava-bean drop out helped Hoffman, but they are split on whether he had the momentum before then.

So the national party spent $900,000 on a person that ended up endorsing the Democratic candidate? Something is rotten in RNC-land.

I don’t think its a very big deal. We shall see. She wasn’t populare amongst the GOPERS in the district. Apparently Hoffman really ate away at her support. She was also drowned by a lot of 9-12rs coming in to volunteer for Hoffman. I think the race is Hoffman’s to win now. Scuzzyfava just made herself look like a spoiled little brat.
