I find it interesting how you Brits use the plural for companies (“Ford have…”), while we Americans use the singular. I guess we think the statement is about the company and you think its about the employees; “The Ford company has a great line up…” “The Ford employees have a great line up…”

We Americans think of a building you Brits think of a collection of people.
