Huge scoop for the indispensable film critic and Threedonia friend Christian Toto. The scribe for the Washington Times and Denver Post has posted Part 1 of his interview with Pete Docter and Bob Peterson, directors of Pixar’s Up.
“Up” charts the remarkable journey of a retired balloon salesman named Carl (voiced by Ed Asner
) who flies up, up and away when he attaches a flotilla of balloons to his home.
Here’s the Threedonia review of Up.
A couple posts from Floyd and myself on Up and its adventure theme.
Up is a favorite for Best Picture and Best Animated Picture noms.

Didn’t see it in theaters, but it’s in my Netflix queue. I love Pixar. Just had a Wall-E birthday party for my youngest, since it gets watched about once a week at our house. I can’t wait to see this!
The dog in the movie could be Buford…..I swear…
“I HAVE JUST MET YOU AND I LOVE YOU.”
Yeah thats B-Dawg…..
this was a really good movie. recommended.
apparently the package on amazon, for only 20 bucks, contains the Blu-Ray feature, a standard def DVD, and a digital copy.
I’d view that as a good value.
