60s Dose of Hubba-hubba: John Slattery

Because, after a season of blah, he brought Mad Men back to life in the finale.

John_SlatteryBecause his portrayal of adman Roger Sterling — is exactly that.

Because his character’s true love is Joan Holloway; further proof that he’s the smartest guy in the room.  (He didn’t marry her, though — proof he’s also the dumbest.  Of course, he knows that.)

Because, when faced with the certainty of jumping off a professional cliff, Roger dismissed it with a blithe, “Four guys just shot their own legs off,” which was my favorite line of this whole freakin’ series.

Because showrunner libtard Matt Weiner accidentally made the best character on his show a Republican.

Honorable Hubba Mention: Nick di Paolo, for comparing our CiC to a condom.

Hubba Trifecta: Father Jonathan, Stephen Hayes, Sean Hannity on Wednesday’s Hannity’s Great American Panel.  Nina Easton: You. Lucky. Bitch.
