BoB had a goodly amount of navel-gazing (particularly the Private Blyth episode), but in the end it was all about a bunch of regular guys who became heroes by kicking some Nazi ass. This looks like it'll be a lot heavier on the navel-gazing and the moral equivalence, with a nice side dish of American atrocities thrown in. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. I hope.
