As for his time machine crack, try going back to the year 2 as a “white” northwestern European and see how you’d do under the Romans who spent a lot of time slaughtering your friends, family and tribe as they conquered the better part of the place you called home. And what about being black in the past? His assumption is that African history is one long story of misery. What utter and complete rot when you consider that there were significant advanced African civilizations going back to biblical times and beyond. I’m sorry, I’m just out of patience as a middle-aged white guy who has it so f-ing good. I know I’m fortunate in many ways, but largely as a result of the society my forefathers built through hard work and sacrifice (and being Canadian, without slave labour).
