For years and years (and years) the Global Warming crowd has told us – over and over and over again – that it’s all about the science. We skeptics, no matter how legitimate our arguments, or how good our creditials, have been the ones “perverting science” – right? I don’t think that I am exaggerating the prevailing narrative one little bit.
Well kids, as a scientist, I have never been associated with anything like what you are about to see. I know that I’m being crabby and naive, but I am disgusted. If I were doing research and I had to sit through something like this there would not be enough soap in the world to get the grease off of me.
The following are screen captures from a powerpoint presentation, from what is obviously a PR firm, that was contained in the CRU files. The Climate Research Unit is supposed to be a legitimate, unbiased scientific organization engaged in – as the name implies – something called “climate research”. So what, dear readers, does the following have to do with either?

I don’t go in much for this fancy “science” stuff but if your data is so unconvincing you have to resort to this level of opinion manipulation isn’t that a big clue that your initial hypothesis is bogus?
