To this day, I have no idea why our society acts as though America is the only country with racism in our history. Ask any black person who has tried to live anywhere in Asia, he’ll tell you that it’s not exactly the multi-cultural wonderland that many think it is.

Relatives who’ve spent time in China tell me that Asians generally consider themselves the superior race, followed by other Asians, followed by Whites, with Blacks on the very bottom.

Which means that the president’s bow to the Emperor of Japan can be seen as an act of Uncle Tom-ism that ought to appall African Americans.
