Will not come Politically Correct nonsense….
Conversation held at the Turbo household this early evening…
Sabrina (age 6): “Mommy, can adults be small like elves?”
Mrs. Turbo: “Yes, Sabrina. Sometimes they are called midgets or dwarfs.”
Sabrina: “Or little people?”
Mrs. Turbo: “Yes. Little people”
Zachary (age 4): “Or Jawas!”
The world might be a better place if they were called Jawas.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats awesome Floyd!
What’s a jawa?
Jawas are the little creatures in Star Wars that wear hoods and speak gibberish… they drove the huge vehicles and scavenged robots.
Scott, I hope you’re not serious (actually, I just got the SNL/Matthau joke).
OOTEENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eric,I was as serious as a kidney stone…
I didn’t know either…had to Google it. I’m exclusively a Trek fan and that’s because as Gene Roddenberry said, it’s a Western in space.
“I can’t abide those Jawas. Disgusting creatures.”
That’s hysterical! Thank you for sharing that!
Last night I showed our 3.5 year old son our Nativity kresh and was explaining about Jesus and the first Christmas. He looked at me seriously and said, “Maybe we should get Jesus a birthday card.” I replied, “Yes. That would be a lovely idea.” Of course, I’m waiting until he insists that we should also buy Jesus a Star Wars transformer, too.
you can tell by the look in his eye he’s gonna be trouble.
Takes after the old man?
I was a little too old for the Star Wars action figures when they came out, but two of my cousins (age 3 and 6) were very into them. Their mother had a creche on the tree skirt and in good, Polack form, she left the baby jesus out of the cradle until Christmas morning. The three year old didn’t understand why the cradle was empty so he put his yoda figurine in it. The tradition stuck and continued until both boys left the nest.
