Matt, the last shot to get them there by Christmas is for them to be shipped out on the 18th, so shoot for the 17th. (Although I have a feeling that if it's a day or three late, the packages will not be tossed aside with contempt.)

I must be a long lost son of yours, because I've been trying to help you realize that for years. I'm just wondering if things that we ship to Tanta Kringle, to ship to Iraq, will get there by Christmas if we send them by WHAT deadline? Or are we looking for a Charlie Mingus note kind of a date that hits somewhere around Dec. 25th, but is still relevant to the tune?

And Outlaw, do you guys have an Xbox 360 out there and would like some like-new games?

My kids have written cards for the troops that just about get me to cry. I imagine most soldiers really appreciate them. They have the added effect of helping me realize what a louse their old man is.

Mine do. In this week's Spelling test they had the word "shot" and one kid spelled it as "shit." This happens every year, but it never fails to send me into the next door teacher's room to show her so we can have a laugh.

I-Tunes is kind of spotty, I've just now caught up on downloading "The Office". I'm not saying it wouldn't be used, it's just really slow sometimes.

Cards from kids are always entertaining...because as you well know they do say the darnedest things.
