So, to answer some questions about the American Primer people had, it’s not strictly a history book, but a civics text using historical narrative. My description here gives the overall premise and the following the the latest table of contents for the planned sections. We had some people who made commitments to write sections, but they’ll have to be re-contacted to see who’s still up for what.

Always liked Batman. (A superhero who could actually exist in real life.) Even liked the original TV series (I was too young to grasp its’ campiness, at the time.) And what young male of my generation didn’t have one of those Batmobiles at one time or another.
I didn’t mean to mislead anybody. The terrorists are being moved to Thomson, IL, which is about 150 miles from Chicago. So no real people will be endangered.
I’m switching to that in a few but right now Grand Valley St. v. MW Missouri St. in the D2 Semifinals National Championship has me hooked. I love small college football.
Thanks, Floyd! Hope you caught one of my favorites “3 Godfathers” today. Can’t get enough of the Duke as Robert Marmaduke Hightower and Ward Bond as “Perley” Buck Sweet.
When my mother-in-law was teaching Jr. High she made a regular practice of showing “The Mouse That Roared” to her students in history class…or could have been social studies. The kids always liked the movie and not just because it was a break from regular studies.
Ready for another outrage courtesy of our tyrannical Congress?
While catching up on some Mark Levin shows from this past week I learned of potentially extreme expansion of federal regulation of water. Any body of water, pond or water that collects after a heavy rain could come under the scrutiny of the EPA. Where does this out of control agency stop?

Also, just saw The Blind Side. Good movie.
In line with the image theme, Superman Is A Dick.
BTW, Matt, check the Friday Open Thread, if you haven’t. I think you’ll be interested.

I didn’t. I had a pink-jumpsuited blonde girl on a wind-up motorcycle.
I desired the Batmobile though, with a profound desire. And a TIE-fighter.
And, yes, I did mention that particular SNAFU to Santa last night.
He shrugged and told me to “suck it up.”
Have youself a Merry Little Christmas…..
I don’t know what came over me…Oh by gosh by golly its time for Mistle Toe and Holly.
HELLLOOOOO CHICAGO!
Big Government has a PDF of a memo ordering the “expeditious” transfer of all Gitmo terrorists to Illinois.

Maybe they’ll dye the river infidel blood red for Ramadan.

Oh, and there is a rumor buzzing around that Queen Elizabeth II might want a generation skipped after she dies and Prince William to be coronated.

So Charles is being skipped over. AWESOME. Jerk.

Let’s hope this doesn’t see the light of day. Here’s a link for anyone interested.

To be honest, CW, I thought they had already done that.
Found another good Batman panel, this time with Catwoman:
