In case you couldn’t show up live last Sunday …
OK, so it took about 30 minutes of starts and stops and more silence than anything, but such is apparently the way of the world when making the switch to live online radio.
However, Eric, Floyd and eventually Rich (aka Mr. Front Page) anchored this week’s show, and the following 90 minutes rolled along fairly smoothly. With huge thanks to station founder/producer Arthur Conley (as well as Young Gun Conservative’s Nick Polyzos for the tech assists), we at Team RF3D cannot be happier to now be affiliated with Right Talk Radio!!! Special thanks go out to our first guests: filmmaker Christian Hartsock and actor/musician/arteest Michael Broderick (please also check out Michael’s project Rethinking Autism — http://www.rethinkingautism.com/). With the kind permission of Movieguide.org’s Dr. Ted Baehr, Radio Free Threedonia also now features reviews from Dr. Baehr himself, this week spotlighting Brothers. Additional appreciation to friend and Texas rocker Timothy Mank, whose songs scatter the landscape of RF3D #2.1.
Now that we’re done with the business and necessary love-fest, please click on Part 1 of 4 below, then 2-4. That’s right, folks, we’re on for two hours now. Well, almost two hours, but still four segments.
Coming up this weekend, December 20th, scheduled guests include Jonah Goldberg, Queensryche’s Geoff Tate, and comedian Bo “Bald Eagle” Clark, who, like so many comedians, got bumped due to time on show 2.1. We’ll also be able to take your calls, not to mention we’ll have a live-blog going on at Threedonia to bump up that whole 21st century interactive experience.
PART ONE
PART TWO
Geoff Tate! Holy crap!! I’m telling my brother who is a huge Queensryche fan. If memory serves isn’t Mr. Tate a “truther”?
Not sure what Tate’s take on 9/11 is, but the more I listen to the amazing American Soldier album, the more I’d be inclined to think he’s changed his mind if he was. Utmost respect for the troops doesn’t necessarily exempt someone from otherwise irrational thought processes, of course just a hypothesis he’s not.
Sorry Eric it’s not that he was a “truther” (the most inappropriate title ever) he is, or was, an anti-Christain anti-Conservative. Here is a clip I found from one of his interviews on The War on Terror.
Shoot! I’m just having one of those mornings. Here is the quote from his interview.
Interesting. Do you have a rough timeline on when that interview took place? On the ‘Ryche’s cover of “Bullet the Blue Sky” — and something I’ll bringing up in the interview — Tate tells a story about helping people and “pulling them along, because isn’t that what we’re supposed to do … as Americans.” Not exclusive to Christianity, but a very Christian attitude.
I believe it was in 2006. Let me see if I can find the link to it.
Here you go Eric:

Thanks, V. Definitely wanna work this into the interview, somehow.
