Anther couple? By that I’m sure you meant the previous ones were George W. & Laura Bush.
You mean the two-time elected governor of the second largest state in the Union, who was also an oil mogul and co-owner of a sports team? The one with the Yale MBA and the GPA that was higher than Kerry’s? The one who flew fighter jets?
Gee, Bary, guess being a Senator for a bit over two years and voting “present” 129 times as a state legislator really outshines that resume.
Come on Barry… He was Gov. of the second largest state in the union and one of the most fiscally solvent ones. He also put together a deal to get The Ballpark in Arlington deal. Even being a failed oilman is still doing something. He was trying to make hi own way. Only liberals see business failure as “stupid” whereas I see it as persistence and finding his way. Hell — quitting drinking like he did is more than “community organizer”. Are you looking down on Laura’s school teaching and being a librarian? It’s too bad she didn’t have access to jobs gotten her through political connections with 200% pay raises for jobs that weren’t re-filled when she left.
Look, Bush can hardly help his name — something which the Obama daughters will — and rightly so — discover as they get into elite universities and find opportunities opening up to them that would otherwise not have opened up to them. Let’s not pretend that Obama knows what the hell he’s doing when NOTHING in his past has prepared him for this. Being President is more than race-baiting and getting people to talk and being wonderful. He has to DO something and do it competently and even more important he has to lead — and he’s never done that.
G.W.B. actually had something on his resume, other than “community organizer.”
How come the Salahis are the only undocumented intruders that aren’t welcomed by the White House?
And they entered for about the same reasons.
