Funny how the left always spins Robin Hood as a guy who robs from the rich, to give to the poor – correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Robin Hood really “steal” from the government’s tax collectors and help dethrone King John?
My favorite RH movie is “Robin and Marian”..Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn. The late great Robert Shaw played the Sheriff of Nottingham..anyone remember it?
It was a great movie, though I’m ambivalent about the ending. But Connery and Hepburn–what a couple! And the best portrayal I’ve ever seen of how it actually is to fight in mail.
This one might be good, but I feel I´ve had enough of the patented Ridley Scott “put stuff in the air and backlight it” style. I´d prefer it to be done in the down to earth way of 1995´s underrated “Rob Roy”: great characters, dialogue, actors. But that one wasn´t for kids.

I’m in for this one. Dear heaven, how I do love broadswords.
It’ll be almost as good as the Mel/Leo Viking flick eh Lars?
