I heard President Obama on NPR extolling the virtues of the Senate bill. He literally said it was the most significant legislation to pass since “Civil Rights or Social Security.” This is all a push by Axelrod to have something to brag about in the State of the Union. It will pass in the Senate today.

I don’t see it happening. The vote in the Senate is in less than four hours and the Dems have 60 votes. It will take the House and Senate some time to combine their two bills into one, and that will occur after the Holiday recess, but I do believe this is a done deal.

Sorry Tracy. The vote is schedules for tomorrow at 7am and they will be adjourned at 3. Like I said, we’ve lost at the federal level and have to start focusing on fighting at the state level.
