Instapundit had this bit from the Washington Post that is too good not to share.
The 23-year-old Nigerian man accused of the attempted Christmas Day bombing of an American airliner apparently turned to the Internet for counseling and companionship, writing in an online forum that he was “lonely” and had “never found a true Muslim friend.”
Made me think of this:
How many times, post-slaughter, have we heard the words “lonley,” or “sad” from some brute describing his own emotional state. Always on the prowl, some armchair psychologist or behaviorist will attempt to rationalize his behavior with his feelings toward society. Sometimes that’s serves as enough motivation for an already crazed psychopath to start pumping lead in the air or packing his Underroos with explosives.
