Before you post it on Facebook, shouldn’t it read, “I saw a Democrat with his hands in his own pockets”? Or, it might read, “I saw a Democrats with their hands in their own pockets.”

Given the rate at which said pockets are typically emptied, I think it’s reasonable to assume that a singular Democrat is picking it with plural hands.
