Floyd, thanks for bringing Mark Steyn to my computer screen today. I was afraid I wouldn’t smile today but now I can check that off my list of things to do. His great wit and phrase-turning capabilities are always welcome in my house (which is currently worth 72% of what it was when I bought it 3 years ago).

Guess this should be filed under “be careful what you wish for.”

Wasn’t it Bill Clinton who said our economy would have to be slowed down, to save the planet?

I can hardly wait for all those “green jobs” that will be sprouting up, like weeds, to save us.
