Wankette mentioned this bizarre Obama moment yesterday, but some things you just have to see to believe:
What’s most interesting to me is what occurs after the President says that the woman requested she be buried in an Obama t-shirt.
The crowd laughs, because they really don’t know what else to do. When you genuinely like someone who is saying something odd and embarrassing, it’s a natural reaction to laugh—to give him the opportunity to brush off what he’s said as a joke. (A joke about a woman who has died of cancer would of course be in bad taste.)
But Obama doesn’t take the out. Look at his face as the crowd chuckles.
The President is pissed off. He mentioned the woman’s dying wish so that his audience would understand that her death was not just an individual or family tragedy. Those are a dime a dozen. This was about Obama, and therefore no laughing matter.

Something tells me ol’ Rahm, got the names of the “chucklers” and “there’s gonna be a few more audits this year!”
The USA is going to be buried in an Obama t shirt…
Things we have to avoid:
1. Healthcare (dead, for now…)
2. Cap-n-Trade (not bloody likely)
3. Card Check (tried once and not looking like it’ll return)
4. More debt, spending and taxes (we now have a filibuster)
We have a filibuster, an ability to scare a few Blue Dogs our way and an effective grassroots. We’re in a better place than we’ve been in a while.
Scott hate to tell you this Ol Buddy but Scotty Brown just stopped that idea before it happened. Stop with that thinking…
Now when I heard this I was like I remember Reagan telling these kinds of storys and remembering the names and making the storys about AMERICA! But Reagan wasn’t a narcisistic freak either.
It’s been said so often that it’s cliche now, but I’m going to put it down again. There is no way in H.E. Double Hockey Sticks that a Republican would EVER get away with the buffoonery that Obama, and Democrats in general, get away with. Imagine mainstream media’s reaction if Bush mentioned, in complete seriousness, a woman’s dying request was to be buried in her Bush t-shirt. The MSM feeding frenzy would make that shark attack which killed the poor soul in Florida (may he rest in peace) look mild in comparison.
That is just one weird comment, and to get angry about it?!?
Either circumstances will seriously chastise him into some sort of humility over the next few years, or we’re in store for some serious lunacy from The One’s teleprompters come 2011 & 2012. Just imagine what he might say when he has to deal with a Republican controlled House & Senate.
Obama’s plans will end up like that T-shirt… worm eaten.
“My Senator went to Washington, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.”
