Do you recall when Wanda was first being aired on network TV and they took out K-K-Ken’s stuttering, so as not to of-of-offend stutterers.

I love this show. While they were always portraying Archie as the white-Republican-racist-idiot, occasionally, they let him be right. And, I remember one episode when Meathead was told he was too liberal by Gloria and Lionel Jefferson, and that show made fun of his brand of liberalism.

To hear Meathead use the word, “queer,” when that was what the libs deemed acceptable at the time (but is no longer PC), is great because I don’t remember Rob Reiner ever having to apologize for that.
