Some things cannot be prepared without salt – such as bread. Going into the totemic items of NY cuisine which this law would bar … it boggles the brain. Classic example of a little knowledge and power being a deadly combination.

I would love to see TV coverage of Chef Gordon Ramsey (who owns a rest. in NYC) discussing this issue with these folks. I’m sure it would be quiet, respectful, and calm …. Maybe Ramsey could start a new series – City Stupidity Nightmares.
