I love these films — a great way to spend a Sunday. Yesterday we were talking about “the good old days”. Apropos to that Where The Boys Are is showing at 6:00 PM. Compare that to 2 minutes of MTV Spring Break. A nice little romance I stumbled upon last month called Summertime , directed by David Lean and with Katherine Hepburn on vacation in Venice is on at 4:00 PM EST. It’s worth a DVR. Venice stars in this film also — the people and the cityscapes. Beautiful film and a good old romance to boot.

Boy do we love some Bob and Bing and Dorothy around here. Last year I picked up a set of “Road” dvds at Costco and the whole family enjoyed them thoroughly. Great pick!
I just watched a great Jack Benny show on Netflix instant play with Bing called, Goldie, Fields & Glides. Hilarious. There’s also a great cameo by someone in it.
I always loved the road movies. Hope did one, though, that I remember called “Call Me Bwana”. It was pretty doggone good, too.
