Emerald City Comic Con is taking place this weekend. I’ll be sharing a few of my experiences over at TAC.
I will note that I chatted for a few moments with James Fletcher with HeroicFineArt.com. James makes his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. On display at ECCC were several pieces by Alex Ross. When I asked about Ross’s “Vampire Bush on Lady Liberty” or “Super-Obama”, James mentioned that he doesn’t appreciate Ross’s liberal politics.
Further conversation with James led me to believe that he’d rather avoid politics altogether and just enjoy the great comic book art created by Ross and so many others.
It’s nice to meet someone who enjoys art form simply for arts sake and doesn’t want to inject a political agenda into his business. If you want to make an art investment, I’d say consider Heroic Fine Art.
Just so everyone knows, my presence here will be a little sparce in the coming weeks. It’s moving time don’t ya’ know.
Hey. from one airdale to another, if you need anything, holler. My son’s downrange, but I don’t mind helping out another fellow vet. Just holler!
Respects,
Good luck and stay safe, Outlaw!
Same from me, Outlaw.
I’ll stay in touch as best I can. We’re in a state of flux right now and I’ve lost my internet in the trailer. I should be back home in a month or so.
“I should be back home in a month or so.”
Best news I’ve heard in a long time!
Good luck dude!Be careful. You know the drill but we gotta say it anyway.
Popping in to say to Turbo: I am editing this to include the category it should have based solely on that foto.
