I was going to put this in the comments in the last Lost thread, but this is too good for anybody to miss.
I have no idea how long this has been going on, but Jorge Garcia (above), the actor who plays Hurley, is doing a weekly Lost podcast with a gal who calls herself Bystander “Sidekick 22.”
Here’s the one from last week. (Clicking the link should launch iTunes.)
The guest is Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus), and they delve into ‘Dr. Linus’ for over an hour. They recorded the interview back in November just after the episode wrapped, so it was still fresh in their minds.
There’s nothing especially revelatory here, but it’s interesting to hear the actors speculating about what’s going on. (They comment that they don’t know half of what the average Lost junkie knows about the show, and they’re right.)
Emerson is a great interview, and he comes across as a very intelligent and good-natured man.
Favorite part of the interview (from memory):
Emerson: “Every three or four episodes, the writers include a note in the script informing me that ‘Ben has never seemed so earnest and honest before.’ It’s hard to keep topping yourself like that. Especially when you know he’ll be revealed as a liar again.”
A good listen for a commute.

Carlton Cuse just sent out an interesting tweet
VERY MINOR SPOILER!!!
Tomorrow’s episode is Sawyer-centric…and he has sex. Make of that what you will.
I wonder if he has coffee first.
You know… someday I’ll have to sit down and watch that series. I have never seen a single episode of it.
Of course, I’m just all a twiddle and duckbumps waiting for the next season of Warehouse 13 to air.
I love Warehouse 13… are they bringing it back?
That’s the word I got. SciFy gave them the go-ahead for a second season, and word on the street is it is in production and will be out in the June/July time frame.
If I wasn’t worried about the ending being spoiled for me, I’d have waited and watched them all on DVD. That seems the best way to do it.
Seasons 1 through 5 are on Netflix streaming right now!
