I knew this kid (my sister knew them much better) when he was knee high to a grasshopper (and his older brother) — would not have pegged them for this back then or even up until into junior high. I guess it’s called growing up for a reason.

God Bless them all. AW1 Tim’s son is currently in Afghanistan as an infantryman (airborne) with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. Everyone hears about the 82nd, and the 101st, and rightly so. Great units with a great history. however, the 173rd is no slouch and a google search will enlighten folks as to how much the “Thundering Herd” has done in it’s history.
Not showing favoritism, no sir. just hoping to expand the information base.
