2310 pages to ammend (or reconcile) a 2100 page bill. They could have just saved time and dropped a deuce on the Constitution. This is creating a bill out of thin air with no vote and claiming it’s a reconcilliation of an approved (though not yet) bill. Unprecedented.

This bill will have everything in it. The Democrats are like a criminal who severely beats up a cop. “Shit, I’m in prison for the rest of my life now– I might as well go all the way.” Bam! Cop killer.
The vote is supposedly set for Sunday. Dave Drier was on Hugh Hewitt today and he said he didn’t know what was planned for that vote if it was a recorded vote or the Slaughter BS vote until he gets there.
JUST do your duty, call, write emails, and if you can be in DC on Saturday to raise unholy hell. I mean it. We are winning this thing. I believe its gonna be close but we will win this thing. We can’t give up.
Now I have a question: if this thing does get passed how can it become a law if there are law suits?
if the courts grant an injunction pending the suit. I predict the Obama Admin. will attempt double-secret light speed to get the ball rolling.

Floyd, I can’t think of a better title for this post. Kraken is a great word for this monstrosity of legislation.
And I’m still trying to work in ‘jeremiad’ into a casual conversation.

I think our focus needs to be at the state level now. 37 states currently have bills in process that would basically refuse to participate in this bill’s mandates, obviously we’d still get taxed out the wazoo. The Federal Government doesn’t care what we think and we’re too cowardly and too “civilized” to do what we should have done years ago. Thankfully our Founders were much braver.
Today all the bravery of the Founders isn’t worth a fart in a windstorm.
