Little Flea is a Freshman at USC this year. The guy’s already a monster musician. He is going to be scary once he throws in some real knowledge of theory and composition. I think this story is great. Kudos to Flea — though the stuffed animal pants were stolen awhile ago. Please God I hope he keeps his socks on his feet for graduation.

Good article and it does make sense. If I could retire I’d probably go back to school too. I’d love to learn about stuff I really like, instead of the stuff I had to learn to bolster a career.
Kick ass tune from the last great Chili Peppers album. Moments of greatness since, but I cannot and will not forgive them for “Under the Bridge” and all the slow-tempo schlock modeled on that since then. (See also, Aerosmith, “Angel”)
