There’s no sure way to get over a hangover says no less an authority than Nichole Vargas, a junior at UNLV.
“Cure? I don’t think there’s a cure for hangovers.”
But there’s something that can ease the pain. Toast.
“It’s good to raise a toast with a glass of champagne with a few close friends, but toast may also help the symptoms of a hangover. Eating slices of toasted bread in the morning will ease the stomach pains, but make sure to avoid butter or jams”
Good luck with that!

After a particularly annoying weekend and as equally MORE annoying Monday, toast and tea was dinner last night. And, yes, there was butter on the toast.
Although maybe if I had a hangover then I wouldn’t have to remember the annoyances.
Toast spread with Robinsons golden shred may or may not help with a hangover but it will put a sugary smile on your face.
I prefer saltine crackers. Maybe with tomato soup. And more sleep.
Stacie… welcome to Threedonia and thanks for making do right here… nevermind — that didn’t come out right. Welcome in any case!
Welcome Stacie!
Someone once told me staying sober also eliminates the problem but I’ve never had the guts to test that theory.
I have empirical knowledge that it does work (as long as you soak the toast in a bowl of Bloody Marys first and then pretty much throw out the toast and drink the Marys).
Now that’s a hangover cure, texacali.

Eye of newt, hair of dog.
I like dry toast wrapped around a western omelet and a couple of sausages.
