It looks “Incredible” — which means it’ll last about a season and a half before ABC screws it up. I hope this is as good as it can be. Here’s the link to the show’s page — it’s on Tuesdays this Fall. If done right this would obviate the need for a sequel to he TIncrediblesand could really explore the issues raised by that film.

Always liked Michael Chiklis – never used to miss an episode of “The Shield.” Looks like fun.
Hey, its Darla from Buffy.
It’ll do well because it will absorb the grieving fans of Heroes, which has been cancelled. At least for a season.
Heroes is on “haitus,” eh? I’m not sorry to see it go. The show was nothing more than a thin veneer of comic book story telling on every left-wing cliche they could muster. I refused to watch season 2, with its ridiculous political prisoners in orange garb and rendition-like plot. I came back for season 3, which was mildly interesting, but the lesbian storyline wasn’t necessary.
The first season started out strong with so much potential. Then they screwed it all up.
I’m definitely looking forward to this show, though. Will definitely set up the TiVo!
Definitely.
Not that there were many of those left. Every time it seems like networks get something right, they then take careful aim at their foot and pull the trigger. The greatest mistake is thinking they’re smarter than their audience. It’s the same hubris that leas to lefty sucker punches and prime time sermons.
This has a strong ‘Greatest American Hero’ vibe to it. It would be very nice to do an episode with William Katt and Connie Sellecca guesting.
What happened to Connie Selleca? She was a dose of hubba hubba
I actually want to watch this…which, if my usual luck applies, means it will be canceled before the end of the first season (cf. “firefly” et al.). Matt, Daniel: I gave up watching “Heroes” after falling off the couch, laughing at Hollywood’s rendition of Odessa, Texas. I lived there 19 years, and no mountains is only the beginning of the egregious errors.

Oh please oh please oh please let this be as good and fun as it looks! Thanks for the tip, Floyd. Will set the DVR for this one.
BTW, I’ve been recording this season of V but haven’t had a chance to look at any of it yet. Is it worth it?
The last television superhero show I watched was CBS’ “The Flash.” That was one cool show but I think I was the only guy in America who watched it. If I could have one superpower it would be superspeed.
