If you've seen "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrells", you may remember Rory Breaker (the "psychotic black dwarf in an afro") addressing Nick the Greek as "Nihh-Koe-Luss". Everytime I've heard that I've had to wonder if it's a Guy Ritchie allusion to Aunt Hattie's exagerated mode of address when it came to Nick in the movie Floyd clipped. Any thoughts? Myrna Loy spoiled me for all other women. One they missed: Shortly after the crowd of men around Nora's table in the club dissolves, she asks him how he found her. He says, "I just looked around for a woman surrounded by the biggest crowd of men in the room. I knew that meant just one thing -- a rich woman." (Or words to that effect.)
