Does it seem like the Obama administration is over-loaded with pointy-headed academics and career “public servants” who don’t have any actual real world experience?
While I can not vouch for the accuracy of the chart waiting for you below the fold, it rings true. According to the e-mail I got via this interwebs thingy, the chart originated in a report published by J.P. Morgan. (The company, not the dead guy).
In the case of the current administration, the chart covers 432 Cabinet members. And how many of those have real world experience you wonder?

Rings true. I remember how much talk there was about John Kennedy bringing in “the best and the brightest” to run the country right; one of the worst mistakes in US history. Bob McNamara and Vietnam is only the highlight.

Jimmy Carter of all people gave us one of our finest Attorneys General,Griffin Bell.
The only one I can name that W put in that was truly bad was Rummy. However the rest, were fair to good.
The thing about it is this: These so called best and brightest, mostly Ivy League idiots are not as bright as they believe themselves to be. If you put Holder in the room with your aveerage citys DA and had him try to comprehend what a normal City Attorney did all day he wouldn’t be able to do it. Elena Kagan? Hows about having her work for a law firm trying to make partner by actually taking a case to trial. I don’t believe she has ever tried one case. What about the car “czar”? The Ivy league is sooo overrated. So unimpressive. When someone says they went to Princeton or Harvard or Yale I yawn. So what? Whooowhooo. UW Wisconsin, granted a left leaning school has a premier history dep. So does Wayne State. Ohio State is I would say on par with Harvard and Yale and even a better school.
However I have come to the conclusion that if I owned a company I might not hire college grads. There is something a little closer to actual real life about someone who went to work out of high school. Maybe I am beginning to be very anti intellectual but how many of these intellectuals have actually done anything real besides stare at a problem and admire it?
Bill Whittle included this chart in a speech he gave a while back. PJTV’s fact-checkers are pretty solid, so I’d say it is accurate.
There’s a restaurant in Clearwater, FL called, The Tilted Kilt, where the waitresses all wear the same skirts as in the photo above, only their white shirts are tied Daisy Duke style to show a good amount of cleavage. They’re all as hot as this model too. I’m sorry … what’s this about again?

It’s a frickin chain, they are in Austin, Dallas and other places as well. Bone Daddy’s and Twin Peaks are also available if you enjoy that kind of dining experience.

Clearwater is home to the first Hooters, so a lot of other restaurants there try and compete with the skimpiest uniforms. When they ask me if I want desert, I tell them I’ve already had more cheesecake than I can handle. The food is actually good at The Tilted Kilt, if you put your mind to it. There’s actually a chain there called, Mugs and Jugs. Just try and guess what the “jugs” refer to.
