Great war movie as well as POW flick. It’s a good day on FMC tomorrow. At 9:00 AM is Fritz Lang’s The Return of Frank James. Bandolero! with Raquel Welch and some other guys is on at 2:00 PM and prior CPOD Patton is on at 8:00 PM. Over on TCM prior CPOD Shane is on at 4:00 PM EDT.

YOu really think Von Ryan’s Express is a great movie? I need to watch it again…cause I was never all that impressed with it.
Well — it’s nowhere near as good as Shane or Patton, but I’ve already picked those. Maybe “great” is a bit of hyperbole… but OK Pick O’ the Day doesn’t quite have the same ring.
OK…I’ll give you that.
Never seen this one. The only thing I know about it is that the leather flight jacket (Outlaw, help me out on the proper terminology!) worn by Sinatra was also worn by Bob Crane in “Hogan’s Heroes”. The jacket was also worn by Greg Kinnear in “Auto Focus”.
