…you probably hated “Shoot ‘em Up”. I loved it. Way, WAY over the top. One would think it would be impossible to paroday Tarantino, weird Quentin being a paroday in and of himself, but they managed to pull it off.

Personally I like QT very much, but I disliked Shoot Em Up.
True, it was made in the spirit of a QT movie, but the execution left something to be desired. The numerous action scenes weren’t nearly as good, or as fun, as they should have been. And while QT fills his non-action scenes with amusing dialogue, Shoot Em Up’s non-action scenes were full of preachy anti-gun liberalism. Hypocritical and lame.
