What’s a Boomer Hero?
A Boomer hero is someone who had talent, squandered it on drugs, booze and sex and instead of cleaning himself up he died alone in a bathtub.
Thats a boomer hero.
Ok. Makes no sense to me. But ok.
Unfortunately Morrison’s immense ego squandered so much of the limelight that most folks miss the real fact that the Doors were a great band. Krieger, Manzarek and Densmore were true innovators and real talents.
Hmmmmm Timmy Morrison died in a bathtub in Paris..drunk or high or both can’t remember. And the Boomers worship him..
Sorry to be so dense. I got the squandered talent part but not the (Baby) Boomer part. I didn’t know he died in a bathtub either. Apparently I’ve been slamming my wooden head against the table too long! (Hard to believe we’ve only been through 30+ days of the first 100 days. Seems like a lifetime.)
