Since so few actually paying attention anymore (mucho appreciado, Tink!), this week’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame admitted long-shot suggestion comes with no lobbying and little more than a big ol’ whiplash smile …
Also, as inspired back to my Threedonia roots by a recent Andrew Price column over at Commentarama, the GOP candidates (and Mr. President) to the tunes of the artist originally known as William Broad:
Perry – “Cradle of Love” (till further notice)
Romney – “Fatal Charm”
Santorum – “Trouble with the Sweet Stuff”
Huntsman – “Dead on Arrival”
Gingrich – “Evil Eye”
Paul – “The Dead Next Door”
Obama – “Daytime Drama”
Little somethin’ for the Van Halen fans below the fold, too.
Merely serviceable cover (you’ve been fairly warned), but Steve Stevens adds his own little flavor, and I do love me some Steve Stevens.

Hey EP you got to account for vacations, you know, there’s a reason that we call ourselves loyal. Billy Idol, 80′s love will work, I’ll buy that.
LGiC (and others), in the words of a past “Corrected” suggestion, I love you all!
Your avatar needs to be much more blonde for that to work, LG.
Love that list, EP, especially the Huntsman, Gingrich and Paul choices.
Special bleached-blonde dispensation in honor of today’s featured artist, too. Gitchyer peroxide heyah, hydrogen peroxide!!!!
Is that better, on the blonde thing? I am in the oc for the week, some call it a vacation, I call it the you can’t go home again tour 2012.
Enjoy our lovely sunshine for the week you are here!
There’s sunshine here too, but the wind was howling and it only got up into the 40s for a high yesterday. Oh well, helps keep out the riff raff.
“Rebel Yell” can get me through the last four minutes on the treadmill every time no matter how tired I am. Sheer genius.
