RIP Whitney
And I didn’t watch the funeral yesterday but this part was on while I was making the kids breakfast… and Tyler Perry made me stop and listen… he preached the Truth.

Made me stop and listen too. Thanks for the post.
Rest in peace, Ms. Houston.
Great bit and very true.
Love Rev Jessie Douchbag sitting there on the stage with this look on his face that says, “Lord? Bible? Grace? What are all of these things of which you speak?”
A very moving eulogy. Rev. Jackson was not impressed. He checked his program to see how many more eulogies he had to put up with.
I was/wasn’t surprised to see Jackson there. Did he deliver a eulogy, as well?
Jackson’s not a preacher, he’s a professional Black man. His job was to be there.
Sax great Kirk Whalem (whose father Kenneth was a Baptist minister here) on WH:

That was great Scott. Thanks.
Whalem is a great name for a sax player, on a side note.
Dang, lay it on us, brutha-man. Tyler Perry for President?
Love the “professional black man” tag on Je$$e, Floyd — double truth, Ruth!!!
Yeah, wonder where was Rev. Al Sharppie?
That was very good, thanks for posting it Floyd. A good way to start church day, I think.
It’s interesting that all of us Christians around here find common ground in that… Baptist, Catholic, (Lutheran right Tink?) and others… this will be what we’ll be clinging to in the coming decades as our faith is marginalized. This birth control issue is the most serious shot across the bow in a long time skirmish on our religious liberty. With private property rights it is THE foundational American principle.
And the Bush regime already sold our property rights down the river with case law that continues to impact rightful owners of land and property.
And athiest.
That’s OK Scott, we’ll be praying for you.
